Momos
Ingredients
250gms Maida for the dough
500gms Minced Lamb meat (Non Veggies)
OR
Cabbage (Veggies)
200gms Large Onions Chopped finely
1 tbsp Ghee / Oil
2 tsp Ajinomotto
1 Any Size Steamer
Salt to taste.
For The Tomato Chutney:
150 gms Boiled tomatoes
8 Flakes Garlic
6 Green Chillies ( you may even add more if needed hot )
Salt to taste
Method:
- First form the dough & keep it aside covered with a moist cloth.
- Add all the ingredients listed above & keep it aside.
- Roll out the dough very thin & make into small / medium sized
circles.
- Fill a little of the filling in each of these & fold over by
binding the edges with little water.
- Shape it in the form of dumplings or the shape you prefer,but see
to it that the sides are all binded well.
- Put each of these in the steamer without sticking to each other.
- After 15 minutes remove them from the steamer & serve it hot with
Tomato chutney.
This quantity is enough for 4. Read it...cook it...Enjoy it...! ! !
Method for Chutney:
Peel out the skin of the tomatoes. Grind it to a smooth paste all the ingredients listed. Ready to serve.
