Mushroom Pakoras

Ingredients

1 packet Mushrooms
1 cup of Besan
Add the following to the besan 2 tsp Chilli powder, 1/2 tsp Dhania Jeera powder, one medium sized Onion finely chopped, 4-5 cloves of Garlic finely chopped, Salt to taste, Haldi powder, little Lemon juice (optional), Coriander leaves finely chopped

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients with the besan and make a thick batter you can add soda or baking powder as per choice.
  2. Clean mushrooms and apply a little salt ( take whole mushroom if they are small and cut into four pieces if large)
  3. Dip in batter and deep fry in hot oil.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings.
