Microwave Cheese Cake
The recipe is in 3 steps:
Please Note: The microwave cooking times will vary depending on the power of
your microwave. It takes me only 15 minutes from start to finish. It may
sound complicated but trust me, it is as easy as 1-2-3.
Step-1:
Use a 9" pie plate.
- 1-1/2 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs, made by "Honey Maid". You can make
your own crumbs if you wish.
- 1 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
- Mix all this ingredients (with the hand, in the pie plate) and spread
evenly. Cook in the microwave for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes.
While it is in microwave, go to step-2, and prepare.
Step-2:
- 8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tsp. vanilla essence
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- Mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixture until it is
smooth (approximately 2 minutes). You can do this step while step-1 is in
microwave.
Pour this mixture on top of the Graham cracker crumbs (prepared in Step-1)
evenly. Cook in Microwave for 5 minutes.
While it is in microwave, go to step-3, and prepare.
Step-3:
- 8 oz Sour Cream
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- Mix these ingredients in a separate bowl (while the step-2 is in microwave). When step-2 is done, spread this mixture evenly on top and cook for another
5 to 6 minutes or until it looks like it is thick/settled.
- After it is cooked, let it cool down for 2 hours at the room temperature.
After that, refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.
Before serving, top it with the canned strawberry ("Comstock" canned
strawberry, 21 oz can)
Tips: It takes only 15 minutes to make this cake and it really tastes
delicious. Try to use name brand ingredients if possible.
