Pomfret Green Masala
Ingredients
5 Garlic cloves
Small size Gingers
6 Green Chillies
1-cup Coriander leaves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tblspn grated Coconut
1 Onion
1 lemon sized Tamarind
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tblspn Vegetable Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut fish in slices
- Grind garlic, ginger, 1\2 Onion, tamarind, coconut, coriander leaves & Green chilies.
- Heat the oil in large frying pan and fry the onion and add the green mixture, coriander powder turmeric powder salt and little water.
- Lower the heat slightly and add Pamphlet pieces. Let it boil for five minutes then garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rice.
