Methi Dal
Ingredients
1 cup Tur dal
One small bunch of Methi chop only the leaves
1 small Onion chopped fine
1 small Tomato chopped
2 tablespoon Coconut fresh grated
2 tablespoon crushed Garlic
1/2 tsp Haldi powder
1-1/2tsp Chilly powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tablespoon Gur
Salt to taste
Oil for tempering
Method:
- Cook the dal along with onion and methi.
- Then add tomato, chilli powder, haldi, garam masala. Boil for 5 mins. Add salt, gur and coconut paste. Simmer for 2 mins.
- Then temper garlic over it in oil. Boil for one min.
- Serve with boiled rice.
