Seyal Dabroti (Masala Bread)
Ingredients
3 -4 table spoon Oil
6 Pavs or 12 Bread slices
1.. 1 bunch of fresh green Coriander leaves
2.. 1 inch Ginger
3.. 2 table spoon chopped Garlic
4.. 4 Green Chillies
5.. 1 medium size Onion
2 large Tomatoes chopped
1 table spoon Dry Coriander powder
1/2 tea spoon Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind ingredients 1-5 in a mixer [do not turn it to paste, should be
shredded form]
- Add the oil in a kadai or a large frying pan. Add the wet masala masala. Add the dry spices and tomatoes & salt. Cook it for 15 minutes on slow flame.
- As the oil separates from the masala add sliced pav or bread [preferably
pav] and turn the sides of the bread to get coated with masala properly.
- Turn down the heat to minimum and sprinkle little water and cover it
with the lid.
- Remove from the fire as the seyal bread is soft and ready.
Serve with papad & onion rings.
