My name is Sunil Bijlani. I am a travel agent by profession for last 18 years my company cheapfaresindia.com specializes in cheap tickets all over the world. I have been trying out recipes ever since i was 14 years of age I find cooking very enjoyable and do it once a week as it helps me to release stress, and the appreciation of my family members keeps me in good spirits. I want to share a recipe with all. It is a Sindhi recipe. This is quite unique and can be had as breakfast as well as a meal.

Seyal Dabroti (Masala Bread)

Ingredients

3 -4 table spoon Oil
6 Pavs or 12 Bread slices

1.. 1 bunch of fresh green Coriander leaves
2.. 1 inch Ginger
3.. 2 table spoon chopped Garlic
4.. 4 Green Chillies
5.. 1 medium size Onion
2 large Tomatoes chopped
1 table spoon Dry Coriander powder
1/2 tea spoon Turmeric powder
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind ingredients 1-5 in a mixer [do not turn it to paste, should be shredded form]
  2. Add the oil in a kadai or a large frying pan. Add the wet masala masala. Add the dry spices and tomatoes & salt. Cook it for 15 minutes on slow flame.
  3. As the oil separates from the masala add sliced pav or bread [preferably pav] and turn the sides of the bread to get coated with masala properly.
  4. Turn down the heat to minimum and sprinkle little water and cover it with the lid.
  5. Remove from the fire as the seyal bread is soft and ready. Serve with papad & onion rings.
