Tomato Semia Soup

Ingredients

1 cup of Semia (vermicelli)
2 Tomatoes
1 tbsp Cornflour
1 tbsp Butter
2 spoons of Oil
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp white pepper powder

Method

  1. Cook the semia with 2 cups of water, oil and salt. Cook until semia is soft. Drain the stock and keep aside.
  2. Cook the tomatoes. Peal the skin blend and sieve it. Put cornflour and cook for a minute. Add milk and cook till thick. Add the boiled semia. Add stock, salt, pepper. Bring it to boil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve hot butter and soup sticks.
