Hi,
I am Heleena from Dallas, US. I am a Software Consultant by Profession and love to cook. This is my recipe of Chinni Paneer which has become a favourite.

Chinni Paneer

Ingredients

300 gm Paneer/Tofu (crumbled)
3 big Tomatoes (finely chopped)
1 big Onion (finely chopped)
3 Green Peppers (finely chopped)
1/4 bunch cilantro/Coriander (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon Ginger - Garlic Paste
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Red Pepper Powder
1 teaspoon Dhania Powder
1 teaspoon Jeera Powder
1/2 teaspoon Jeera
1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
2 tablespoons Oil
1 cup hot Water
A pinch of Turmeric
Salt for taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry Jeera & Onion till they are done.
  2. Add Paneer and fry for 5 min.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients except water and fry for 3-4 min.
  4. Add water and cook covered till the tomatoes are soft and the water is evaporated.
  5. Serve hot with Roti or Rice.
