Bonda With Garlic Chutney

Ingredients

Maida 1 cup
Rice flour 1/4 cup
Curd 2 tablespoons
Salt according to taste
Coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon
Oil for deep frying
Soda-Bi-Corb a pinch

Method:

  1. Sift maida rice flour and salt.
  2. Now add curd to the sifted flour.
  3. Add water and mix well, make thick batter.
  4. Keep for 2 hours, now add coriander leaves and soda to the batter and mix well.
  5. Heat oil. Take batter in your hands and drop slowly little by little with your thumb in the oil.
  6. Fry till golden brown in colour.
  7. Serve hot with Garlic or Coconut Chutney.

Garlic Chutney:

Ingredients:

Garlic 10 flakes
Ripe Desi Tomatoes 2
Sambar Onions 4
Red Chillies 5
Tamrind Extract 1 tea spoon
Lime Juice 1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/4 tea spoon

Method:

  1. Cook tomatoes along with tamrind, salt and onions.
  2. Grind to a fine paste with the other ingredients. You can adjust tamrind and chillies accoding to your taste.
  3. Serve with snacks or noodles.
