Carrot Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup Maida
1 cup grated Carrot
1 cup Fine Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Oil
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt
Few grounded Cardamoms
1/3 tsp Nutmeg powder
Orange Essence
Butter for greasing the pan

Method:

  1. Sieve the maida, salt, baking powder & soda.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl & add the grated carrot to it. To this mixture add the finely grounded sugar and then oil. Keep on stirring the mixture.
  3. Add the essence, cardamoms and the nutmeg powder to it. Put this batter in a preheated greased baking pan (180 degrees). Heat it for 35 min at 180 degrees in an oven.
