I visited this site full of lip-smacking, mouthwatering dishes and recipes, which inspired me to contribute something to this site and my contribution is tasty Pineapple Rasam, my speciality in cuisine and is easy to cook. Pineapple Rasam

Ingredients

Pineapple - 5 to 6 thin slices (Sliced from a whole pineapple as circles)
Green chillies- 2 to 3.
Cumin powder (jeeragam)-1 t.spoon.
Rasam Powder- 2 table spoons or as desired.
Coriander leaves- as desired.
Lemon- 1/2
Salt- as desired.
Thoor dhall--only if desired.

Method:

  1. Take two glasses of water and add rasam powder.
  2. Cut green chillies and add it to the above. Bring it to a boil.
  3. Add pineapple, cumin powder and salt and a glass of water to the above, and allow it to boil for sometime.
  4. (Optional) Add 2 spoons of cooked thoor dhaal when it boils.
  5. Add coriander leaves before putting the gas off. After allowing it to cool for five minutes, add lemon and mix.
  6. Serve with Rice.
