I am Rathi, staying in denver with my husband. This is my second contribution to Bawarchi's recipe. This I have learnt from my mother, she is a very good cook. My husband likes this curry very much. Mutton Kothu Curry
Ingredients
500 Gms of Minced Meat (Goat or Lamb),
1 Onion chopped,
1/2 Tomato,
1 1/2 spoon of Ginger & Garlic paste,
2 spoon of Red Chilly Powder,
2 pinch of Turmeric Powder,
1 spoon of Garam Masala,
Cloves, Bay leaves as needed,
Cut Vegetables like Cauliflower, Potatoes and Peas (To a minority level
you can add , Majority should be the minced meat),
Salt needed for your conveniency,
3 spoon of Oil.
Method:
- Heat oil in a deep bowl pan, add cloves, bay leaf then add chopped onions and fry till the onion reaches golden brown.
- Then add ginger & Garlic paste and fry, then add turmeric powder, red
chilli powder, Garam masala and tomatoes-- fry for a while in medium fire.
- Add the minced meat then keep on stirring very slowly till all the
masalas mixed perfectly with the meat.
- Then add the cauliflower, peas and potatoes with the above content.
- Add 3 medium glass of water to it, then add salt as needed. Let it cook well till the meat and vegetable get boiled, If you want a fry you can allow water to drain completely in that pan or otherwise if you need of gravy type you can turn off when it is in gravy.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves.
- Serve hot for Chappati, Roti, Naan, Rice. This is a very tasty dish for mutton lovers.

Serves: 4 or 5 persons.
