Methi Paratha

Ingredients

Green methi leaves - one bunch
Flour No II (Wheat Flour) 200gms
Jeera - one tsp
Chilli powder - one tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Youghrt (Dahi) - 150 gms
Cooking oil - one tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp

Method

  1. Plug all methi leaves and chopped them into small pieces.
  2. Take 200 gms flour No II (Chapati Atta), mix with methi leaves.
  3. Add jeera, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and youghrt and cooking oil.
  4. Mix it well. Add sufficient amount of water to make a soft dough.
  5. Keep it for 15 minutes.
  6. Then take small ball from the dough and roll it like paratha.
  7. Place on hot tava (pan). Turn it simultanously till it gets golden brown colour.
  8. Methi paratha is ready. Serve it with pickles or Baghara Dahi.
