Masala Vadai
Ingredients
Chana dal - 1 cup
Red Chillies - 5-6
Salt, Hing - to taste
Kadhi Patha - a few sprigs
Onion - 1 chopped fine
Method:
- Soak chana dal for 1/2 hour only and strain well.
- Put in a mixie first red chillies, salt and hing and make a powder. Then add the chana dal little by little and grind only half. Do not make a fine paste, it should be ground with a few whole dals.
- After grinding all the dals put it in a vessel, then add kadhi patha, onion and mix well. Make flat in your palm and fry till done. Serve hot.
