Baked Fish Masala

Ingredients

1 kg Fish (boneless prefered)
2 big Onions (fried in oil and make paste)
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Turmeric
2 tbsp Chilli powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Jeera powder
1 tsp Menthi powder (fenugreek seeds)
Tamarind - lime size (soak in water)
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take 5 tbsp of oil and fry onion paste, add ginger garlic paste and turmeric and fry well, till red.
  2. Then add chilli powder and salt. Pour tamarind pulp and boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Put fish pieces and boil for 5 minutes, add coriander powder to it. Remove from fire and sprinkle jeera and fenugreek seed powder. Pour into baking dish.
  4. Preheat oven at 200 degrees C. Place the dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle little coriander and serve cooled.
