Hi, I am Padma Bhat basically from Bangalore, India now staying in New Jersey. I Visit this site very often & learnt a lot from the contributions. Here is a recipe for Seven Cup Cake, I would like to share.

Seven Cup Cake

Ingredients

1 cup Chenna Dal [Besan] powder
1 cup Ghee
1 cup Coconut [fresh]
1 cup Milk
2 to 2 1/2 cup Sugar

Method

  1. Add little ghee & fry Chenna Dal powder for 5 mts & keep it aside.
  2. Fry coconut [till it becomes warm]
  3. In a pan add sugar & milk. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Now add chenna powder,coconut,ghee & stir it well until it leaves the pan.
  4. Greese the plate with ghee & pour the paste & cut it into pieces
  5. Store it in a box & serve along with tea/coffee.
