I'm Ratna Paramesh from Detroit, MI. I'm a great lover of this site. Here is a very simple sweet where children as well as adults can enjoy. Hope you enjoy making as well as eating coconut burfi!

Coconut Burfi

Ingredients

Coconut, grated or desiccated :1 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Milk 1 cup
Ghee optional

Method:

  1. Take a pan & fry coconut in ghee slighty.
  2. Then add sugar and mix it well.
  3. Add milk to it and stir well. Let it boil till all milk evaparates and it becomes semi solid.
  4. Grease a plate and pour the mixture into it. Leave it still till it becomes a bit dry.
  5. Cut it into diamond shape when it cools down. Enjoy cooking!
