Spinach Dhal
Ingredients
Spinach 1 pack
Moong dhal (greengram dhal) -3/4 glass
Green Chillies - 12
Onion -2 medium size
Tomato 2 medium size
Jeera/Cumin seeds 1 spoon
Urad dhal 1 spoon
Curry Leaves (optional)
Oil 3-4 spoons
Salt to taste
Lime Juice to taste (put more if you like sour taste)
Yellow/Haldi a pinch.
Method:
- Split green chillies into 2 pieces, cut onion, tomato into pieces (not too
small).
- Cook moongdhal, chillies, onions and tomato in a cooker with little haldi/yellow and a spoon of oil.
- Take a oil in a pan, cumin seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves then add the cooked dhal and vegetables.
- Heat it for a while and add salt and lemon juice according to your taste. This goes well with rice and chapathis.
