Hi!
I am Noopur and this is my second recipe for all of you! The earlier one being Red Chilli Chutney, this one being a chutney too!! Well, we call it Kamli's Chutney named after our housemaid who used to prepare it!! and have it with hot hot Bhakris! Hope you people enjoy it too!! Let me know whether you found it real hot and tasty.. mail me at noopurg@rediffmail.com

Kamli's Chutney

Ingredients

10-12 flakes of Garlic
1 small Tomato
a small bunch of fresh green Coriander
8-10 Green Chillies
1 tsp. of Jeera
A pinch of Asafoetida
Pinch of Sugar
Pinch of Turmeric
and salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the tomato into half. Roughly chop the coriander.
  2. Cut the chillies into smaller pieces.
  3. Put the above into a grinder and add the rest of the ingredients and grind to fine paste.
  4. Add a little water if the chutney's too thick!!

Tastes great for a change!! A Chutney without coconut!!
