Bell Pepper Chutney
Ingredients
Red Bell Peppers : 2
Channa dhal : 1 tsp
Urad dhal : 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli : 3 or 4
Curry Leaves few
Tamarind little
Salt
Method:
- Cut peppers into cubes and saute them in oil till they
become soft. Allow them to cool.
- Take oil in a kadai and fry urad dhal, channa dhal, dry chilli, curry leaves and tamarind for 5 min. Then put all these dry ingredients (except peppers) into a blender and powder them.
- Then add the bell peppers and to it add little water and blend these into a chutney consistency. You need not season it. You may garnish with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy this with chapathis or rice with little ghee. You can store this in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
