Rashmi here. I have been browsing Bawarchi for quite a while now but this is for the first time I am contributing towards it. Carrot Sandwich
Ingredients
Carrots - 1/4kg.
Onions - 2.
Ginger, Green Chilli paste - 2 tsps.
Tomatoes-2.
Chopped Mint, Coriander, Curry Leaves - 2 tbsps
Salt-as required.
Oil-for frying.
Bread Slices - 10.
Method:
- Steam cook carrots and grate them.
- Chop onions and tomatoes finely.
- Heat little oil, and little mustard and then ginger garlic paste. After a minute add onions and fry till crisp.
- Stir in tomatoes and continue frying till moisture is absorbed. Add grated carrots, salt, chopped leaves and fry well.
- Keep little masala in between two buttered slices of bread. Toast it using sandwich maker.
- Serve with Tomato Ketchup or Mint Chutney.
