Ravva Laddu (Sweet Sooji balls)
Ingredients
1. Fine Sooji 1/2 kilo
2. Sugar 1/2 kilo
3. Dry/fresh grated coconut 1 cup
4. Cashew nut 1/2 cup
5. Ghee 1 cup (200 gms)
6. Kishmish 1/2 cup
7. Elaichi powder 1 tbsp
8. Warm milk BC cup
Method of preparation
- Pour ghee in a kadhai.
- Fry cashew and Kishmish - fry till golden brown and
keep aside.
- Fry sooji in the remaining ghee.
- After the sooji is fried - add the grated coconut
also and fry for 2 minutes.
- Grind sugar and the fried cashew into a smooth
powder.
- Mix the Sooji - sugar- cashew powder - elaichi
powder - kishmish and the warm milk.
- Make the mixture into balls.
