Hi,
This is Ratna Param from MI. I have contributed many recipes to this site. Here is an excellent snack. It's spicy a little but you will love it. Comments to rs_gorantla@yahoo.com

Mirch Bajji

Ingredients

Big size Chillies : 10
Ajwain : 2 tsp
Tamrind Pulp little
Besan
Oil
Salt

Method:

  1. Slit chillies in the middle and boil them in water for 4-5 min. Take them out and set them aside.
  2. Mix tamarind pulp, ajwain and 5 tsp of besan with salt for stuffing. Now mix besan with water and add little salt to form a batter for dipping chillies.
  3. Now stuff little mixture of tamarind, ajwain & beasn in all chillies.
  4. Take oil in a kadai and when the oil is hot enough dip the chillies generously in the beasn batter and drop them in oil. When it turns into light golden take them out a keep them on a plate.
  5. Cover with paper. (paper absorbs the excessive oil from bajji). Like wise make all the bajjis.
  6. Serve the bajji's with Diced Onions & Lemon Juice or Tomato Ketchup. Bajji's taste better when hot.
