Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

1 cup of Warm Milk
1 stick of Margarin Butter
2 Ice Cubes to cool
2 cups of All Purpose Flour
2 1/2 tsp of Yeast
1/2 cup of Sugar
1/2 tsp of Salt
2 Eggs

Method:

  1. In a pan add milk and when it's warm turn off the gas & add margarin butter in it to melt. After butter melts add ice cubes & allow it to cool.
  2. Dissolve yeat in 3 tsp of warm water & keep it aside.
  3. Mix Allpurpose flour, yeast, sugar, salt & eggs to make a dough till its smooth & elastic.
  4. Pre-heat the oven & keep the dough inside the oven for an hour for the dough to rise double the amount.
  5. After an hour remove the dough & divide it into four parts.
  6. Take the first part & roll it with the help of rolling pin like chapati. Apply butter on top of it & cut into 8 parts with the help of a sharp knife.
  7. Take each part and roll it from the broad portion to the thin portion into rolls. Keep it aside. Repeat for the rest.
  8. Take a baking tray apply butter & arrange each role on the tray leaving enough place for the rolls to rise. Wait till the rolls rise by covering with cloth & keeping it for 10 minutes to rise. Repeat the same with rest of the dough & make rolls.
  9. Heat the oven to 325 degree & bake for 15 -20 minutes.
  10. Remove the roles apply butter on each role & serve it.

Note:

The rolls can be also be served by cutting it in the center to apply jam or any of your favourite spread. Enjoy!!
