Corn Chat

Ingredients

Tinned Corn 1 tin or fresh corn kernels - 200 gms
Green Chillies- 3 to 4
Onions -2
Jeera-1 tsp
Salt
Oil-2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves.

Method:

  1. If using tinned corn open the tin and put the corn in a colander and wash it thoroughly and keep it aside for some time so that the water drains away.
  2. If using fresh corn boil it and separate the corn kernels.
  3. In a pan pour oil and add jeera so that it splutters. Then add the chillies and onions and fry for sometime.
  4. Add the corn, salt, chilli powder and garam masala and fry for some time.
  5. After turning off the stove add the coriander leaves and serve very hot. Makes a very favorite starter.
