Hi!
I am Vijisathya Boston, MA, again, my previous recipes was Aviyal, Apple Kheer and Potato Snack. I did learn a lot from my mom. I like trying out different recipes and bawarchi has been of great help. Hope you all enjoy and give me your comments. My e-mail : vijitvm@hotmail.com

Chutney Powder

Ingredients

Oil : 2 tsp
Bengal Gram dhal : 1/2 cup
Black Gram dhal : 1/2 cup
Coconut grated : 1/2 cup
Red Chillies : 12 Nos
Asafoetida : 1/2 tssp
Tamarind : Amla size
Salt : to taste
Curry leaves : few Nos

Method:

  1. Roast dry the Bengal Gram Dhal, Black Gram dhal and the grated coconut.
  2. Fry the red chillies and the aasfoetida powder in the 2 tsp oil.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together and powder fine. Add salt.
  4. Store in an airtight jar.
  5. Serve with hot rice and dosai with ghee.

Preparation Time: 15 Min
Cooking Time: 5 Min
Makes: 200 grams
