Cooked Rice Bajiya
Ingredients
1 cup Gram Dal (besan)
1 cup Cooker Rice
2 Onions finely chopped
1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Oil for frying
For Paste:
4 to 5 Garlic cloves
4 to 5 piece of Ginger
4 to 5 Green Chillies
2 tsp Coriander leaves
Method:
- Make a smooth paste of the cooked rice along with ginger, garlic, chillies,cumin seeds turmeric. Mix the paste with gram flour, onion and coriander leaves. Make small balls .
- Heat the oil in low flame and deep fry till the bajiya's are brown in colour. Remove it and strain the excess oil.
- Serve it hot with coriander or pudina chutney /tomato sauce.
- Garnish with sliced onions.
Cooking Time: 30 to 40 min.
