Pakoda Hariyali

Ingredients

All kind of green leafy veggies:

1. Spinach (if available) 2 bunches
2. Parsley 1 bunch
3. Dill 1 bunch
4. Basil 1 bunch
5. Spring onion . 2-3 bunches
6. Corriander leaves etc. 1 bunch (except mint and saag leaves).
7. Besan (Gram flour) 1 cup
8. Garam Masala Powder. 1/2 tsp.
9. Red Chilli Powder. 1/2 tsp.
10.Salt to taste
11. Oil to shallow fry

Yoghurt Sauce:

1. Plain curd 2-3 tbsp.
2. Mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp.
3. Salt to taste
4. dried mint powder 3/4 tsp. Mix all the ingredients and your sauce is ready.

Method:

  1. Chop all the veggies very finely.
  2. Add all the above mentioned ingredients including besan.
  3. Take a non-stick frying pan. Heat the pan first and then add 2 tbsp. oil, keep the flame medium or low.
  4. Make round flat ball size pakodas and shallow fry them. Fry until they turn golden brown (from both the sides).

Its a very good snack for home parties, can be made little earlier and you can always reheat them either in microwave or gas oven. Serve hot with yoghurt sauce. Happy Cooking!
