Quick Laddoo

Ingredients

Shredded Coconut 2 cups
Sugar 3 cups
Milk 1 cup
Rice Flakes(poha) 2 cups
Elaichi powder 1 tbsp, Cashewnut 1/2 cup, Kishmish 1/2 cup
Powdered White Sugar 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Take a thick bottomed pan and add the milk.
  2. Put aside a handfull of shredded coconut and use the rest. When it comes to a boil, add coconut and poha little by little mix well on a low heat.
  3. When the whole milk has been absorbed, add the sugar slowly, stirring continuously. Continue to stir in medium heat until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan then add the elaichi, cashewnuts and kishmish.
  4. Remove to a plate and make small balls.
  5. Mix the powdered white sugar and the remaining coconut and roll the balls on this to make the laddoos look good.
