Rava Ladoo

Ingredients

Rava or Sooji 1 cup
Ghee 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Cardamom 1 tsp
Cashews 10-15 pieces

Method:

  1. Roast Rava or sooji until it turns golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for few minutes and grind to a very fine powder (like atta).
  3. Heat the kadai once a again. Add the ground rava, sugar, ghee, cardomom & roasted cashews. See that sufficient ghee is added.
  4. Mix everything mentioned in step 4 so that it gets into a consistency where ladoos can be made.
  5. Turn off the gas and start making ladoos.

Note: Ladoos can be made only if the mixture is hot. So if the mixture begins to cool after making a few of them it can be re- heated to make the remaining.
