Lamb Curry

Ingredients

Lamb 3lbs
Cardammom 10nos
Clove 10nos
DalChini 3-4 pieces
Jeera 1 tablespoon
Dhania 1 tablespoon
Ginger-Garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
Onions 8 (small)
Green Chilli - 5-6 nos
Turmeric(Haldi) - 1-2 tea spoons
Red chilli powder - 1-2 tea spoons
Vegetable oil 4-5 tbl spoon
Tomatoes - 2 (big size)

Method:

  1. Keeping 3 onions aside and grind the rest of the spices into a fine paste.
  2. Cut the 3 onions and fry till golden brown in 4 tbl spoons of oil.
  3. Add carefully the ground paste.
  4. Fry till oil separates from the paste.
  5. Add tomatoes and the lamb.Cook for 15 min on medium flame till lamb is almost cooked.
  6. Add salt to taste and water to increase amount of gravy.
  7. Keep on medium flame for another 30 min until the lamb pieces become soft.
  8. Lamb curry is over when oil starts to float over the curry.Add coriander leaves to garnish.
