Lamb Curry
Ingredients
Lamb 3lbs
Cardammom 10nos
Clove 10nos
DalChini 3-4 pieces
Jeera 1 tablespoon
Dhania 1 tablespoon
Ginger-Garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
Onions 8 (small)
Green Chilli - 5-6 nos
Turmeric(Haldi) - 1-2 tea spoons
Red chilli powder - 1-2 tea spoons
Vegetable oil 4-5 tbl spoon
Tomatoes - 2 (big size)
Method:
- Keeping 3 onions aside and grind the rest of the spices into a fine
paste.
- Cut the 3 onions and fry till golden brown in 4 tbl spoons of oil.
- Add carefully the ground paste.
- Fry till oil separates from the paste.
- Add tomatoes and the lamb.Cook for 15 min on medium flame till lamb is
almost cooked.
- Add salt to taste and water to increase amount of gravy.
- Keep on medium flame for another 30 min until the lamb pieces become
soft.
- Lamb curry is over when oil starts to float over the curry.Add coriander
leaves to garnish.
