Hi, Rani again. Sumbitting cashew cake receipe. It's tasty and very simple. I learnt this dish from my mom. Beleive me first time I made it was instant sucess. Send your feedback at ranivasan@hotmail.com

Cashew Cake

Ingredients

cashew-1 cup.
sugar -2 cups
milk 1/4th cup
ghee- 1/4th cup
saffron-few strands.

Method:

  1. Soak the cashew in cold water for about 2hrs.
  2. Grind it fine to smooth paste.
  3. Now soak the saffron in milk and set aside.
  4. Take heavy bottom vessel. Put the cashew paste,sugar and ghee.
  5. Keep stirring continously on low heat for about 10 min.
  6. Now regulate your stove to medium and keep stirring till casew cake leaves ends of the vessel.
  7. Before pouring into greaced plate.
  8. Pour saffron and milk and mix it well.
  9. Pour and cut into diamond shapes when warm.
  10. Store it in airtight container.
