Red Bell Pepper Chutney
Ingredients
1. One medium sized Bell pepper
2. Ten dry red chilies, half spoon mustard seeds, half spoon Methi seeds,
one spoon Urad dal, pinch of hing.
3. One spoon of Tamarind pulp.
4. Pinch of Turmeric, salt and sugar as per taste.
Method
- Take two spoons of oil in a pan and fry all the ingredients ( Number 2 in the ingredients section). Keep this aside.
- Put another spoon of oil in the same pan and fry the bell peppers with salt and turmeric.
- Allow it to come to room
temperature and grind all the ingredients together with three spoons of water.
- This is a good combination with rice, dosa or idly.
