French Toast

Ingredients

100 ml Milk
3 Teaspoon Sugar
4 Slices of Bread
1 Egg
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
A Few Drops of vanilla essence
2 Teaspoon of Ghee or Butter

Method:

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl till forthy.
  2. Put in sugar, salt, vanilla essence and milk.
  3. Beat the mixture till sugar dissolves.
  4. Soak slices of bread in the above mixture for just one minute.
  5. Heat non-stick tava over low flame and butter it slightly.
  6. Fry the slices of bread on the tava, both sides, till brown.
  7. Serve hot with honey or pancake syrup.

Making time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2
