I'm Subha from Toronto, Canada. bawarchi is one of my favorite websites which I refer to time and again. I would to like every one to enjoy these nutritious and soft parathas. I feel this is a very good and easy way to include tofu in our diet.they are especially good for vegetarians who seek proteins.

Tofu Paratha

Ingredients

whole wheat flour: 1cup
firm tofu: 2 oz.
cooked tur dal: 1/2 cup
salt: 1/2 tsp
chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
jeera powder: 1/2 tsp
dhania powder: 1/2 tsp
pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
oil: 1tsp
coriander leaves: 1tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and keep it covered for an hour.
  2. Take a small portion of it and make it into a ball and roll it.
  3. Heat the griddle on medium flame, when it is hot enough put the paratha on it and shallow fry on both sides till golden color.

Tip: left over mixed dals are a good substitute for dal asked in the recipe. serves- 3-4
