Hello my name is Fouzia Lakai, I reside in Dubai. I am not very keen about cooking,but this site has helped me a lot,I have tried various recipes given here, and I would like to share one of my moms recipes with you all, if you like it please do get back to me atfouzia_lakai@hotmail.com

Safed Gosht

Ingredients

mutton1/2 kg,
ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp,
25gms kaju,
1tbsp khus khus,
1tbsp till,
2tbsp dried coconut,
1cup youghurt,
2 green chillies,
2 onions,
salt,
oil,
coriander for garnish.

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onions till brown add washed and cleaned mutton pieces to onions and fry for a minute then add ginger garlic paste.
  2. And fry another 2 minutes, now add all the other spices,(dry roast khus khus, dill, coconut and powder) also grind kaju and green chillies, add all this to mutton with beaten youghurt,salt now fry for 5 minutes add water and let it cook on slow fire till mutton is cooked.
  3. Now garnish with coriander leaves. serve with rotis or naans.
