Hi, I am Sheila and I live in Bombay, when I read that sesame seeds contain a lot of calcium, I decided to use them a lot in my daily cooking. I have a green chutney recipe which is simple and nutritious Try it.

Sesame Green Chutney

Ingredients

1 bunch coriander leaves
1/4 bunch mint leaves
2 green chillies
2 tablespoons lightly roasted sesame seeds
2 cloves garlic
1/4 inch piece ginger
1 small onion chopped
salt to taste
fresh lime squeeze to taste
tamarind soaked in hot water-one teaspoon

Method:

  1. Grind very fine in a blender.Add a little water and lime juice during the grinding process.
  2. Great for sandwiches and accompaniments for samosas and batata vadas.
