Crispy Vada

Ingredients

Urad dhal ... 2 cups
Small onion - chopped ... 4 nos.
Coriander leaves " ... 1 cup
Curry leaves - chopped 1/2 cup
Green chillies -- cut ... 4 or 5 nos
Ginger - cut into small pcs. 1 inch
Salt to taste.
Oil ... to fry.

Procedure:

  1. Soak urad dhal for 2 hours and grind into a thick batter
  2. Add the required salt, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves, cut coriander leaves and onion and mix well with the batter.
  3. Make vadas and fry it in oil with medium flame.
  4. Serve with chutney made of coconut.
