Balti Mushrooms And Red Peppers

Ingredients

Button Mushrooms 1 lb
Red Pepper 1 medium
onion medium chopped
Garlic 2 cloves
1 Green Chilli 1 chopped
or
chilli Powder 1 tspn
Curry powder 1 tspn
Fresh Mint 1tbspn chopped
Coriander leaves 1 tbspn chopped
Natural Yoghurt 1 small carton
or
Fresh cream 1 small carton
Oil 1 tbspn
Ground Almond 1 tbspn
Salt 1 tspn

Method

  1. Cut the mushroom in half and red pepper in to small pieces. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, then add the chopped onion and garlic.
  3. Fry till they are brown, now add the chopped green chilli or 1 tspn chilli powder and curry powder.
  4. Fry for a while and add the chopped mushrooms and red pepper.Cook till they are done.
  5. Now add almond powder, chopped mint, chopped coriander, yoghurt or cream and salt.
  6. Simmer for 2 minutes, garnish with fresh coriander and mint.

Serve with rice or any Indian bread.
