Hi, I am Swati from L.A. I regularly visit this site and many a times I get new ideas to make my lunch and dinner tasty one. Today I am giving my first recipe and hope that u all will like it.

Tasty Gota

Ingredients

2 small bunches of fenugreek leaves( methi leaves)
1 bunch of cilantro
4-5 spring onions
2 cups of besan flour
1 tea spoon baking soda
salt,red chilli powder as per taste
a pinch of turmeric powder
2 banana
oil for frying
2 green chillies (Optional)

Method

  1. Chop methi leaves,cilantro and spring onions
  2. In a vessel smash the bananas and add all the other ingredients except the oil
  3. Mix all the ingredients well it should be the consistency of that of a pakoda paste not very thin it should be thick
  4. Heat oil in a kadai take 2 tablespoon of oil and add it to the batter mix well
  5. Take a little water in a bowl and dip ur fingers in the water then take the batter and slowly drop like a pakoda in the oil and fry them on a medium heat till they are brown in colour see that the oil is not too hot if then they will be brown from outside but will not be cooked from inside.

Enjoy this with chutney or sauce especially in the winter
