Eggless cake

Ingredients

2 pounds self rising flour
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
5 tbsp cocoa
coke or pepsi
2 tbsp baking powder.

Method:

  1. Melt two sticks of butter in a big pan.
  2. Add sieved sugar also to it.
  3. Then sieve the flour.
  4. Add 5 tablespoons of cocoa to the flour.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of baking powder.
  6. Again sieve the mixture. This will help in making the flour very light which will help in the rising process.
  7. Put the flour in the pan in which you have the butter and sugar.
  8. Then add coke to the flour mixture a little at a time and keep stirring.
  9. Use one can of coke or until the consistency of the flour is like a thick liquid.
  10. Beat the mixture very well until it looks fluffy.
  11. Put the mixture in a baking pan lined with butter and a little flour.
  12. Place the pan in the preheated oven at 300-325o F.

  • The cake should be done in about 30-45 minutes.
  • After it is done place the cake on a wire mesh for it to sweat.
  • Enjoy your dessert.
  • You can decorate it the way you like.
  • You can also make a different flavor cake by substituting sprite for coke and pineapple essence for cocoa powder.
