Eggplant Baat
Ingredients
Channa Dal (Kadalai Paruppu) 2 tsp
Urad Dal (Ulundu) 1 1/2 tsp
Daniya 2 tsp
Red Chillies 8
Cinnamon small piece
Dry coconut (copra) little
Fry without oil and grind the above ingredients.
Boiled Rice 2 cups
Lemon 2
Brinjal / Eggplant 1/2 kg
For Seasoning
Musturd Seeds 1 tsp
Urad Dal 1/2 tsp
Channa Dal 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp
Hing a pinch
Curry Leaves for taste
Method
- Cut Brinjal in to small cubes, soak in salted water for sometime, drain and fry till tender.
- To the Brinjal add the Masala powder, rice.
- Season it with the above ingredients mentioned.
- Cool it and add lemon juice.
