Potato Daal

Ingredients

Moong dal - 1 cup
Potatoes (Cut into medium pieces) - 3 (Medium)
Onion (cut into small pieces) - 1 cup
Garlic - 2-3 flakes
Green chilies - 2-3
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste

Method

  1. Cook moong dal with 2 cups of water, potatoes, little salt, & garlic In a pan heat oil, add onions and fry for few minutes.
  2. Now add greenchillies, tomatoes and chilli powder.
  3. After few minutes, add the mashed moong dal and little water if required.
  4. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  5. It is great with rotis.
