Cabbage Koftha

Ingredients

Cabbage - 1
Tomatoes(Sliced) - 4
Onions(Sliced) - 2
Green Chillies(Sliced) - 6
Ginger - 1" piece
Rice/Corn Flour
Salt to taste
Oil
1" piece Cinnamon
2 Cloves
2 Cardamoms
2 tb spoons Dhania powder

Method:

  1. Cut the cabbage in to medium sized pieces, boil and grind it hard without adding water in it.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel. Add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, dhania powder and Add onion slices, green chillies and ginger . Fry till light brown. Then Add tomatoes. Cover the lid and add salt . Heat the same until the gravy becomes thick (semi liquid paste).
  3. Heat oil in a different pan. Add salt to the cabbage paste, and make balls of this paste with small amount of flour in it. (Flour is used for tightening it, u can use as little as possible) and deep fry these balls and put them gently in the gravy u prepared before. Koftha is ready
