I am Geetha from new Jersey.I would like to share with u one of my favourite tea time snack,RIBBON PAKODA.it is in the south Indian style.try this recipe and if u have any comments or suggestions feel free to mail me.

Ribbon Pakoda

Ingredients

rice flour-4 cups
besan flour-1 cup
red chilli powder-1 tsp.
hing- a pinch
salt- as required
water to knead
oil to fry

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough.
  2. It should not be very stiff. but watery
  3. Don't pour too much water but watery enough to press in the pakoda maker "acchhu".
  4. Deep fry in oil till golden and drain the excess oil.
  5. Cool it and store in an airtight container.
