Masala Mushroom
Ingredients
Mushroom 1/2 kg
Potato (small) 3 nos
Mustard seed 2tsp
Garlic 2 pods
Cumin seed 1/2 spoon
Poppy seed 1/2 spoon
Oil 3 tsp
Salt
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Tamarind 2-3
Curry leaves 4-5
Paste:
Make a fine paste of mustard seeds,garlic,cumin seeds and poppy seeds with enough water.
Process:
- Cut mushroom into quarters and soak it for 10 minutes in warm water with a little vinegar and salt.
- Cut potato into tiny pieces.
- Heat oil and fry the potato and mushroom for 2/3 minutes.
- Keep aside.
- Heat oil again .
- Put some onion seed,curry patta and hing
- Add the mustard paste
- Saute till the masala is done leaves oil
- Now put the mushroom and potato
- Fry some more time.
- Add half cup water with a bit tamarind.
- Cover it till its cooked.
- Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with hot plain rice or rotis.
