Hi I am Uma Natarajan again.
My previous recipe was 'corn tomato chutney'. This time it is 'low
fat chevda'. It is so easy to make, delicious to taste and it has low
fat content. why not try?

Low Fat Chevda
Ingredients
Thin poha --- 200 gm.
Kurmura (Poha) --- 50gm.
Chatnidal --- 50gm (potukadalai)
Groundnut --- 50gm. (Roast and remove skin)
Cashewnut --- 10 gm(optional)
Dry Grapes --- 10gm(optional)
Green Chilli --- 1 or 2( chopped)
Salt and Chilli pr --- ( According taste)
Hing --- 1/4 teaspoon
Turmuric pr --- 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard seeds --- 1 teaspoon
Oil --- 1-1/2 teaspoon
Kadipattha --- 1/4 cup leaves
Sugar --- 1/2 tea spoon
Method:
- Place the ingredients separate in Microwave Plate for one minute, better to cook half minute each to avoid over roast.
- Place the Kadai in gas stove, pour oil, after the oil heated, split mustard
- Add green chiilli, cashew nut, dry grapes, hing powder, turmeric powder and chilli powder, kadipatha,(gas flame should be medium).
- Now add all roasted ingredients, add salt and sugar,
- Stir well for five minutes. (while mixing keep the gas flame low.)
- Now the 'low fat poha chevda' is ready.
- Total cooking time is 10 to 15 minutes. Easy to prepare.
