I miss the chats I used to have at Bangalore. But now I have started making those at home, which I cannot seem to get outside. I am submitting my favourite recipe as the first.This is simple,easy to make nutritious chat......

Bele Masala

Ingredients

Fried Moong Dal(Hesaru Bele) : 1 Cup
Fried & salted Groundnut (karada kadalekayi beeja): 1/2 Cup
Onion : 1 medium sized chopped fine
Carrot : 1 small grated fine
Lemon : 1
Sev : 1/2 cup
Chat masala : 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves : for garnishing.
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix fried MoongDal & groundnut with chopped onions and the grated carrot.
  2. Now sprinkle the salt,chat masala and red chilli powder and squeeze 1/2 the lemon on it. Top it with sev if required.....finally garnish it with coriander leaves.
