Capsicum Pulav
Ingredients
1. 3 cups of Basmati Rice
2. Capsicum - 3 Medium sized - cut into small pieces
3. Onions - 3 Medium sized - cut into small pieces
4. Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
5. Pudina Leaves - a few strands
6. Green Chilly -2 nos
7. Garlic - 5 pieces
8. Ginger - a small piece
9. Everest Pulav Masala- 2 teaspoons
10. Vegetable Oil - 5teaspoons
11. Salt to taste
12. A pinch of turmeric
Method:
- Wash the rice and keep it aside for 10 minutes and then boil it
separately and strain the water and keep it aside.
- Wash the coriander and pudina leaves and make a paste of
coriander & pudina leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilly.
- In a kadai, take some oil, put the onions fry them, till they
become pink, then add the chopped capsicum pieces and fry till it
gets soft.
- Add the paste of coriander leaves into the kadai and add the
pulav powder, haldi and salt.
- Let all these mix well and wait till oil oozes out.
- Add the pre-cooked rice and mix it well.
- Serve hot with Papad and any type of Raita.
Your Capsicum Pulav is ready.... You can garnish it with
tomatoes..sliced well.
