Capsicum Pulav

Ingredients

1. 3 cups of Basmati Rice
2. Capsicum - 3 Medium sized - cut into small pieces
3. Onions - 3 Medium sized - cut into small pieces
4. Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
5. Pudina Leaves - a few strands
6. Green Chilly -2 nos
7. Garlic - 5 pieces
8. Ginger - a small piece
9. Everest Pulav Masala- 2 teaspoons
10. Vegetable Oil - 5teaspoons
11. Salt to taste
12. A pinch of turmeric

Method:

  1. Wash the rice and keep it aside for 10 minutes and then boil it separately and strain the water and keep it aside.
  2. Wash the coriander and pudina leaves and make a paste of coriander & pudina leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilly.
  3. In a kadai, take some oil, put the onions fry them, till they become pink, then add the chopped capsicum pieces and fry till it gets soft.
  4. Add the paste of coriander leaves into the kadai and add the pulav powder, haldi and salt.
  5. Let all these mix well and wait till oil oozes out.
  6. Add the pre-cooked rice and mix it well.
  7. Serve hot with Papad and any type of Raita.

Your Capsicum Pulav is ready.... You can garnish it with tomatoes..sliced well.
