Chapati Kadi

Ingredients

2 - 3 chappatis (broken into small pieces)
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. jeera
a pinch of hing
1 to 1-1/2 cup sour buttermilk
turmeric & salt as per taste & colour preference

Method:

  1. In a little oil add the jeera & mustard.
  2. After it splutters add the broken chappati pieces & stir fry for a minute.
  3. Add the buttermilk (more buttermilk can be added till the chappatis becomes very soft ). Also add salt & turmeric powder.
  4. Make sure that the gravy becomes thick & the chappatis are soft. serve hot.

Also green chillies, ginger & pepper can be added if u want it 'hot'.

Time taken : 5 - 7 min
Serves : 1 - 2
