Chapati Kadi
Ingredients
2 - 3 chappatis (broken into small pieces)
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. jeera
a pinch of hing
1 to 1-1/2 cup sour buttermilk
turmeric & salt as per taste & colour preference
Method:
- In a little oil add the jeera & mustard.
- After it splutters add the broken chappati pieces & stir fry for a minute.
- Add the buttermilk (more buttermilk can be added till the chappatis becomes very soft ). Also add salt & turmeric powder.
- Make sure that the gravy becomes thick & the chappatis are soft. serve hot.
Also green chillies, ginger & pepper can be added if u want it 'hot'.
